I think we as fans have a tendency to overlook teams like Cleveland, KC, Oakland, etc,,, They have been NFL floor mats for so long and in the Browns case our bitch for a while now, but I have been watching them and they are a quality opponent. They are playing inspired defense, so much so, that I personally believe they are playing better as a unit than the Ravens. Offensively they struggle, rookie QB, rookie RB, quality O-line and so-so receivers. But with our injuries and with this being a divisional game as well as a rivalry game (from their perspective anyway) this is going to be a dog fight. Anyone expecting anything different should be prepared to be on the game day thread ranting and raving again this Sunday. Just a bit of caution to my fellow fans.

Cleveland despises Pittsburgh's guts. I have no doubt every one on that team will be playing their hearts out.

It would be foolish to overlook any team. To me the teams that are sub .500 are sometimes the deadliest. Plus some teams have a habit of playing up to us. The Chiefs, Raiders, Titans, and Browns would be good examples. The Brownies are a gimme to play us tough though, they are a divisional rival that hates us, so there's always that extra motivation.

The Browns fans will be rabid, as well. It's gonna be one tough road game.

we overlooked Tennessee and Oakland and look what happened. Then, after many warnings about KC, they nearly beat us too. This team does it every time.
Cleveland looks 10X tougher than KC. Their front lines on both offense and defense destroys ours. It's going to be a very long day for both our OL and DL. And Weeden has had multiple 300+ yard games - so our DB's need to be at the top of their game. Also, their special teams is better than ours (although thats not saying much). The 2 Cleveland games could prove very, very tough. |

I would hope that after the KC incident, everyone has learned their lessons about overlooking any team. With Ben out, this is even more important. I look for the team to come out very focused, as we need to get some breathing room on our record these next few games. We really don't want to drop 3 in a row then end up in a situation where any loss eliminates us.

I saw Cleveland beat the crap out of Dallas for a half. Their D front is impressive. If they had an accurate QB they would've destroyed Dallas. They are a very tough out despite their record. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Steelers struggle or even lose this game especially when factor in the injury situation. The D has to step it up even more and put up some points for the Steelers to win I think.

yup - if we can basically run the ball, not turn the ball over, and actually just play "average" special teams - we can win.
We need a win, in a huge, huge way.
