Biran Hoyer ain't worth a damn. We've gone from sugar to shit in a very short clip.
Hey don't sugar coat it, I mean tell us how you REAALLY feel.

For what it's worth, Brian Hoyer studied under Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. That's gotta count for something.

Also, there was originally talk that Jim Harbaugh wanted Hoyer to eventually be the replacement for Alex Smith.

This is supposing that Dixon or Johnson would be any better than Leftwich or Batch. The steelers aren't alone in not valuing Johnson, he plays in the UFl. Dixon wasn't on anyone's team either until Roethlisberger went down... Right now he's on the practice squad of our biggest foe, not in any position to be handed the reigns any time soon.

Winning with a backup QB is more about how the team pulls together without their leader, there aren't many dynamic back ups in the league. The defense stepped up in Bens absence, but the offense and especially the special teams fell short. Our backup situation really hasn't been handled poorly, again, a dynamic backup is the exception, not the standard in the NFL.

That about sums it up. 30 out of 32 teams in the NFL fail to win most games with a backup quarterback.
