I hope you are correct about the bengals. Being a common opponent should help but the bengals will have 10 days to rest and get ready for the Steelers since they play Thursday this week.

There are several scenarios that can carry us into the playoffs even if we lose to the bengals but then we will have to depend on the Ravens to beat the Bengals which I don't think will happen as they will want the Bengals in the playoffs before the Steelers.

beating the bengals will be the easiest way and the right way - as whoever wins - should deserve to go to the playoffs

Rich Eisen on the NFL network called the Steelers the "Sybil" of the NFL. He said you never know week from week what your going to get from this team.

They just came from a game that they had to put everything they had into, and where emotionally spent. The QB was out of sync to start, (two of his first three passes stuck to his gloves, and he is usually better with the gloves). We where without our best CB, and brought in a guy who was on the practice squad for a reason and another guy who was out of work for a reason. Godell's zebras just gave San Diego a touchdown free of charge. Our status quo HC refuses to fix special teams.

Oddly enough, I still like Tomlin's tendency to go for 4th and short. We usually make them.

You can call the Charger, Cowboys and the Ravens "sybil" - it just means that there is parity. But the NFL head want there to be a dominant team like the 'Yankees" of baseball of "Manchester United" in the EPL as they sell more tickets and commercials.
