The first-round pick out of Baylor underwent an MRI on Sunday night, which the team announced show no ligament damage. Griffin's status for next Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns will be determined later in the week. If Griffin is unable to play, fourth round pick Kirk Cousins would make his first NFL start. Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler suffered a neck injury during his team's 21-14 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Cutler was hit in the head by Vikings defensive end Everson Griffin with his head snapping back rather violently. Despite the hit, Cutler would remain in the game for several plays, which is surprising considering the veteran missed a game in the middle of last month due to a concussion. Other injuries we'll be monitoring this week: Bears kicker Robbie Gould strained his left calf during pregame warmups, which thrust punter Adam Podlesh into kickoff duties. Bears first round defensive end Shea McClellin injured his knee in the first half and would not return. Not only did the Ravens lose to the Redskins, right guard Marshal Yanda was lost to a sprained right ankle.
