Post Brandon Pettigrew, Morris Claiborne headline late game NFL inactive lists (Shutdown C

With the Dallas Cowboys in contention for both the NFC East title and a Wild Card spot, wide receiver Dez Bryant has delayed surgery on his fractured left index finger and will play against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Bryant is having a breakout season, catching 75 passes for 1,028 yards and nine touchdowns, with seven of those scores coming in the last five games. Bryant could be in for a big game as the Steelers will be without starting cornerback Ike Taylor and backup cornerback Cortez Allen. Left guard Tyronne Green and right tackle Jeromey Clary, two-fifths of the San Diego Chargers' starting offensive line, are inactive against the Carolina Panthers. The Detroit Lions will be without tight end Brandon Pettigrew and defensive tackle Nick Fairley against the Arizona Cardinals, who deactivated nose tackle Dan Williams.
