It is kind of a trick question, because the answer is "none of the above" - not for the price that would be required. We either need to pay for real quality linemen, or struggle along with cheap below-standard linemen. But we shouldn't pay be paying luxury prices for below-standard players.
These two players are closer to the wrong end of the spectrum. Foster just doesn't have the skillz, and Colon has head problems along with being injury prone. If they were cheap, then sure, bring them along. But they're not starting caliber, and we shouldn't overpay. The free agent market and the draft should easily allow us to improve in this area - if the coaches and front office staff can get it together... |
