Kick em when they're down!

OK Sid - time to finish of the Rags today (I hate early games)

I am not a fan of these matinee games either. I'd much rather watch a night game. Now what am I going to do tonight? lol j/k

Crosby's been on fire. Rangers are struggling. This is an important division game for the Pens. If I recall correctly they have been mediocre against the division over the past few seasons. That needs to change. Rangers have had our # at CONSOL. Hoping that changes today!

Wooo hooo 8-game winning streak!!! Pens looked pretty solid. There were a few times when we were up 1-0 I thought the Rangers were going to tie the game. They had some good scoring chances, but Fleury made the saves. Hats off to him. I was glad to see him earn a shutout. He definitely deserved it, and is now the franchise's all-time shutout leader with 23 career shutouts! Congrats MAF!!!

Rags are done.

I was afraid Pens would just wear themselves out skating circles around them all game but they held on to get Fleury his shutout.

way to go 8-0!

The Pens are on a nine game win streak after a win against the Bruins today. This team is looking pretty good right now.

I agree the D has been playing pretty good. The penalty kill has also looked pretty sharp. Any word on Letang and his injury.

LOSING LETANG
Defenseman Kris Letang suffered a lower-body injury late in the first period and did not return in the game. Head coach Dan Bylsma said after the game that Letang will be further evaluated. With Letang out, the remaining five defensemen Brooks Orpik, Paul Martin, Matt Niskanen, Mark Eaton and Deryk Engelland had to adjust accordingly.

SO happy we beat Boston. Can't stand them. Like how we've been beating up on them lately. I hope it continues.

Crosby's goal was a thing of beauty. Love the way he's playing since Malkin went down. Hope Letang isn't hurt too bad. We need him in the lineup. Way to go for Vokoun. He rose to the task and really made some nice saves and plays. My hat goes off to him. Nice way to stand in for Flower on the second of back-to-backs.
