they should put a statue of Shero in the airport

PITTSBURGH -- Brenden Morrow hasn't even been in Pittsburgh for a month. At the rate he is going, the veteran forward should soon feel free to run for mayor.

Morrow scored two goals for the second straight game and dropped Montreal's P.K. Subban in a third-period fight as the Penguins moved closer to clinching the top seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs with a 6-4 victory over the Canadiens on Wednesday night.

Acquired from Dallas on March 24, Morrow's tenure with the Penguins got off to a slow start. He didn't score until his seventh game with his new team but has now netted five goals in eight days.

"He was absolutely flying," Pittsburgh forward Jarome Iginla said. "It was great."

Iginla, picked up just before the trade deadline last month, scored his second goal for the Penguins. Doug Murray, brought in from San Jose on March 25, scored for the first time in more than two years. And centre Brandon Sutter -- who came to Pittsburgh in a stunning swap last June that sent popular centre Jordan Staal to Carolina -- added two goals as Pittsburgh won its fifth straight without Crosby.

I only wished that Morrow had another crack at that asswipe Subban one more time!
Seemed like the guy got thrown out of game just to avoid him.

I guess we won't know who we're playing till the very end - Buffalo suddenly has life, Winnipeg won't go away and the Rangers are hanging on by the skin of their teeth

very entertaining watching everyone else scramble

oh - and no Flyers or Devils to worry about - heh heh

I totally agree Subban wanted to get tossed so he did not have to deal with Morrow again. He didnt want to get his a$$ handed to him again by the old man.

I agree it is defanatly interesting watching everybody scramble for their playoff life and seeding. Do you think anybody wants any part of the Pens right now ? I dont think so.

Dont forget James Neal, he is also a scoring threat. The Pens can be scary good come playoff time.

The way Neal and Malkin were playing before they got hurt I'd put them on the 4th line.

The way Beau is looking I'd keep him up there on #2.

I know, I know........
