While neither Manning nor Rodgers should be completely absolved of blame for their teams' playoff losses, as both committed some costly turnovers, it's also tough for a quarterback to lead his team to victory when his defense plays as poorly as Denver and Green Bay did in their games. Denver's defensive backs couldn't cover a toddler in their game, and Colin Kaepernick just did whatever he wanted against Green Bay, whether that was running or throwing the football, and the Green Bay defense would just stand there and let Colin Kaepernick move the ball against them in any manner he desired.
