What has he done to support this claim, how many passes has he caught?

Also a FB? That's laughable, again what has he done to show he can do this

He fucked up as a punt protector this year, he's not a bad guy, he's just obscenely overrated. Why would you bring a circus clown to town just to have him line up at FB/TE two positions he's never played in the NFL? Don't get it
Exactly what I was asking earlier. I think the "he's not a good QB, but a good athlete" thing just sounds good, so it caught on.

He sucked as a QB, he sucked as a punt protector, and unless they gave him some bigger pads, there is no such thing as a QB-FB hybrid either. The only reason to bring Tebow in is for the media draw. There is no reason to believe that he would be good at any of teh other positions on the field. he may be an all-pro TE in the rough-- but he has not shown anything to suggest it at all.

^ I completely agree, it seems like people just started saying he could play TE/FB and kept saying it without any reason. You're right that the media circus has been about all Tebow has been good for. Would we sign Vonte Leach or Gronkowski if they were going to result in a 24/7 media circus, raise questions about our allegiance to our franchise QB or undermine our "team" by being the undeserved center of attention at all times?

I would like to say no, and those 2 can actually play at a high level at those positions, as far as we know Tebow can't even play at a mediocre level.
