Well, it looks like we're keeping Todd Haley.
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter Bruce Arians has accepted four-year deal, with a team option for a fifth year, as head coach with Arizona Cardinals. Ian Rapoport @Rapsheet The #Cardinals have offered their head coaching job to Bruce Arians, I'm told. He is expected to accept. #Cardinals met with Bruce Arians today. He left with a great feeling. He was rewarded with an offer. Source says he'll be the team's HC. The final details of the contract for Bruce Arians and #Cardinals are being worked out. Not talking money, I'm told. So it's almost done. Bruce Arians offered Arizona Cardinals coaching job Ian Rapoport Published: Jan. 17, 2013 at 08:16 p.m. The Arizona Cardinals have offered Indianapolis Colts offensive coordintor Bruce Arians their head-coaching job, and he's expected to accept, a source informed of the team's plans told NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. The Cardinals met with Arians on Wednesday and Thursday. He was one of several candidates to replace former coach Ken Whisenhunt. Arians took over the Colts' head-coaching duties this season on an interim basis after head coach Chuck Pagano took a leave from the team while receiving treatment for leukemia. |

They originally wanted Haley, but his asking price was way too steep for the Cards as reported on the NFL Network.

This was Bruce when he was seeking the Bears job
"I have a great job. I love it here so much,'' Arians said. "I've never been treated with more respect in my career than I have here, so it would be hard to leave. "It's going to have to be a perfect fit for me to leave, but you always want to win one of those Super Bowls on your own.'' http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports...rview/1822319/ There are lots of terms to describe the current Cardinals situation, but "perfect fit" is not one of them Good luck BA - you are going to need it |
