Default My Mock

1 - Jarvis Jones - OLB - Georgia
Yes I think he drops ... teams in the top 10 won't pick him because of his only like 6 year span ... he won't test real well at the combine ... reports he don't like working out (probably can't with the spine issue) ... DL would have to play him from year 1 though... Say bye bye to James Harrison and save that 5-6 mill it saves

2 - David Amerson - FS/CB
I absolutely Love Amerson and would take him in the 1st ... I love his ability to play center field and make plays on the ball ... something our DBs lacked for yearsssssss ... I also like his ability to be able to cover the Bigger TEs during a blitz

3 - Jonathan Cyprien - SS - FIU
Like somebody said in their mock ... Cyprrien and Amerson compliment each other well... His stock went through the roof from the senior bowl ... can tackle and can cover

4 - Kenjon Barner - RB - Oregon
Absolute Game Changing Speed ... Can Catch ... Can Handle more punishment then Rainey

5 - Michael Williams - TE - Bama
Best blocking TE and his receiving is underrated

6 - Jeff Lucke - P - UCLA
absolutely need a better punter ... and he'll help Kickoff as he can consistently boot it out of the endzone ... Had a good showing in either the East.West or senior bowl I forget which one

7 - Oline / WR ... somebody for depth

So in your mock we're re-signing Wallace?

I believe they will try to ... and If not I think Brown and Sanders and Cotch and Plax will be ok ....

I also would love Justin Hunter in the 1st or 2nd in the draft ... I just think if Jarvis Drops you can't pass him up as a Pass Rusher is more important then a WR

Same thing with David Amerson ... seen if a couple Injuries happen our DBs suck behind the top 3 ... Amerson gives versatility to play the Corner if needed ... and can learn the safety for a year... most importantly he attacks the ball when in the air something our DBs lack ... I think he's also better then people our making him out to be at CB , He had a couple bad games early on but started to play real good at the end of the season, He was biting on double moves too much trying to do what he did last year

3rd you'd like a WR then sure but I think a Troy replacement is more important to find in this Safety rich draft ...

Anthony Amos would be good in the 7th for a WR that could become good...

He's not afraid to go after the ball that's for sure.

You're not willing to take a chance on Jordan, but you're ready and willing to draft a guy that has a serious spinal injury that, according to you, is going to completely throw his stock into a tailspin?

He's the best player in the draft by far to me ..
Jarvis and Jordan is 2 completely different players ... Jarvis is actually a beast , and the best pass rusher in this draft, and when you watch the game he looks like the best player on the field ... am I worried We'll only get maybe 6 good years out of him? absolutely not, I'll take 6 years with a difference maker at the OLB rather then 10 with just a player

Yes Jordan is just a player to me

I'm not arguing we shouldn't take him, it was just surprising to me. Either way, I don't see him getting past the Jets at 9. Even if he does, he won't get past the Saints at 15 as they're switching to the 3-4 too.

If he's there, though, we should take him. I agree.

A lot of teams this year have said there switching to 3-4 schemes ( well two I can think of off the bat, browns and saints ) so expect the olbs olb/de hybrid guys go early and probably won't be any left of a 17th selection.

Some will fall. The scheme change probably affects the NT/DT draft stock more.
