If he's there, though, we should take him. I agree.
Saints are who I'm worried about too... I don't see how he gets passed them either

I agree ...

Here a decent quote from this article about Jarvis Jones http://www.austinchronicle.com/blogs...inal-stenosis/

So what does this mean for Jarvis Jones?
It means the same thing it meant for Michael Irvin, Sterling Sharpe, Marcus McNeill, and Chris Samuels. Pro Bowlers whose careers were ultimately cut short by the condition.
The most important part of that last sentence is "Pro Bowlers," however. When thinking back on the Dallas Cowboys championship runs of the 1990s, one may conjure up images of a black Mercedes SL-500 with gold trim and personalized Texas plates reading "PLY MKR."
In other words, former Cowboys WR Michael Irvin is remembered for many things, but never as "the player who had spinal stenosis."
When you have the opportunity to draft a "playmaker," you take it.

Teams will be stupid to pass on him because of the injury , But I still think some do ... With players like Ansah , Mingo , Datone Jones , Dion Jordan , Sam Montgomery all could end up passing him in this draft process

Getting Javis Jones is just too good to be true to me. The Steelers hit a HR in the first round last year. Don't think they will hit back-to-back.

This is what I would like... maybe just wishful thinking. This post is an exact repost from another topic I replied on two or three days ago.

2. Giovanni Bernard, RB, North Carolina
3. Aaron Dobson, WR, Marshall
4. D.J. Swearinger, S, South Carolina
5. Duke Williams, S, Nevada
6. Rick Wagner, OG, Wisconsin
7. Caleb Sturgis, K, Florida

Love that receiver you have in the 7th, but I really think one will be taken top 3 rounds this year. I would bet my house on it.

I know Jarvis Jones is a great athlete and he gets to the qb....but have you seen Georgia TRY to stop the run. It's ugly. Jones doesn't play disciplined and gets caught out of position often. That style of play doesn't fit well into Dick Lebeau's system. In this scheme, an OLB has to be able to rush the passer, and be stout against the run. I don't think he would be able to come in and play. He'd have to gain weight, learn the system, be disciplined in the system, learn how to take on blocks and still make plays. He's a "run around" guy. He doesn't take on blocks. That's why he struggles against the run. He gets sacks and makes splash plays in the backfield, but he doesn't do the dirty work necessary to play in the 3-4 defense. All this and serious injury concerns. I don't think I would take that pick, especially in the 1st round.

I like your picks. except for Jones in the 1st. I know Lattimore and Mauti scare some with the injury history, but those two are PLAYERS!

Jones is good enough against the Run ... and he did all this with teams knowing and having to double team him ... Now imagine that he has Woodley on the other side to take away that double team

If your talking about the SEC championship game where all they did was power run right at him and he still made a couple plays ... The guy just makes plays no matter how much other teams try to "take him away"

who else did Georgia have to take away blocks from him???

If we're doing a "Dream" one

1. OLB Jarvis Jones
2. WR Justin Hunter ... Hopkins would be good too ... But neither will last that late to the 2nd
3. FS Bacarri Rambo
4. SS Jonathan Cyprien
5. RB Kenjon Barner ... I love Gillislee and think he'll be the best Pro in the draft , But I think Kenjon fits what Haley wants to do to a T
6. TE Michael Williams
7. WR Anthony Amos / CB Nigel Malone / CB Jumal Rolle / CB Rashaan Melvin
