whoever thought that boyd would be taken instead of jacobs was crazy, mostly after you look at his stats.

Stats arent the whole story...especially in pre season....
Coaches look at long term potential in guys like these.... I do think that Jacobs will win the job...I'm just not sold on Boyd... Then again...I dont do this for a living...Cowher and Colbert do...very successfully I might add...

Boyd is athletic and has a huge arm, the latter being the sole reason NFL teams find him interesting. Unfortunately his bullets are either off target or right on the money to a DB. He lacks touch and clearly cannot read defenses. Sorry Boyd, turn yourself into a WR/TE and even then good luck with your so called NFL career.
