Hang on! Karl Rove is talking to the GOP chairman in Hamilton County, and he's not sure whether this smoke is white.

In a big upset, Jorge Bergoglio of Argentina has become Pope Francis I! He's the first non-European ever to become Pope. He is believed to have finished to second to Benedict in 2005.

I just wonder why they even need to vote on who the Pope is. Shouldn't it be obvious who it is since he's the 2nd in line to the throne in Heaven? Doesn't God 'speak' to these high ranking officials to tell them who it should be?

from behindthesteelcurtain-

Fun fact: Since 1967 (Super Bowl I), whenever a new Pope has been elected, the Steelers have won the Super Bowl that was played immediately after.
