Default 1 ... 17

Here's my prediction.

1. KC: Luke Joeckel
2. JAX: Eric Fisher
3. OAK: Sharif Floyd
4: PHI: Dion Jordan
5: DET: Dee Milliner
6: SD: (trade) Lane Johnson
7: ARIZ: John Cooper
8: BUFF: Tavon Austin
9: NYJ: Barkevious Mingo
10: TENN: Chance Warmack
11: CLEV: (trade) Geno Smith
12: MIA: Marcus Trufant
13: NYJ: Tyler Eifert
14: CAR: Star Lotulelei
15: NO: Jarvis Jones
16: STL: Kenny Vaccaro
17: PITT: Matt Elam

Analysis:

1. KC: Luke Joeckel
Fisher might be better, but Joeckel is the pick.

2. JAX: Eric Fisher
They could go so many ways, but owner, Omar Khan, has stated that they want to build the "foundation."

3. OAK: Sharif Floyd
This seems like a lock. That said, Da Raidahs rarely go smart.

4: PHI: Dion Jordan
Geno Smith is tempting, because he can run Chip Kelly's offense. But, Jordan is the best pass-rusher... and played three years for Kelly already.

5: DET: Dee Milliner
They could go O-line. But, they've needed a CB for a decade. They need a CB; this is a great CB; they take the CB.

6: SD: (trade) Lane Johnson
Cooper or Warmack are better players... who will be there at 11. But, San Diego wants a LT.

7: ARIZ: John Cooper
Great fit. ANY O-lineman is a great fit.

8: BUFF: Tavon Austin
They want to draft Nassib, but not at 8. They want to trade down (& take Nassib). When push comes to shove, I think that they take Austin, and then trade UP for Nassib (New England wants an extra pick, and 28 would be a good spot for Nassib).

9: NYJ: Barkevious Mingo
They need a pass-rush. Personally, I'd take Warmack, but Rex loves those OLBs.

10: TENN: Chance Warmack
Just a solid pick. CJ2K needs some holes. Warmack makes holes.

11: CLEV: (trade) Geno Smith
Yep.

12: MIA: Marcus Trufant
If they don't trade their R2 pick for Brandon Albert, this could be DJ Fluker. But, the trade will happen, and they take a CB. Xavier Rhodes is probably the more "accurate" pick, but, personally, I like Trufant better.

13: NYJ: Tyler Eifert
Give Sanchez SOMEONE to throw to.

14: CAR: Star Lotulelei
Sheldon Richardson is also an option... it's just a matter of which DT the Panthers prefer.

15: NO: Jarvis Jones
They need a pass-rusher.

16: STL: Kenny Vaccaro
The lock of the draft. If Austin is gone, they go Vaccaro in a heartbeat.

17: PITT: Matt Elam
They might want to trade down, but with Austin & Eifert gone, Minnesota & Atlanta no longer want to trade up. Some will suggest reaching for a WR, but if the Steelers are going to "reach", why not for my favorite player: Bob Sanders -er- Matt Elam. (Actually, technically, Elam plays most like Polamalu.)

No! Please don't let Cleveland make a smart move and draft Geno Smith. Let them continue on the path with Brandon Weeden!

I like this though. A lot. I especially like Elam at 17. While I've been vocal about him being a reach in the past, at this point he really is the best player available. He addresses a need and provides depth and provides a capable body if (it's really when) Troy gets injured. He plays a similar game to Polamalu and would let this defense continue on without really skipping a beat.
