You are going to be disappointed because the Steelers are drafting defense first round this year.

Deal with it.

The Steelers will NEVER EVER EVER EVER have a dominant offense with Roethlisberger at quarterback.

Deal with it.

I'm glad they have you in the war room to see us through.

Meh. Facts are facts. The Steelers strength has traditionally been defense.

The offense got its shot to take over the lead role for the team. Arians philosophy was designed to create a big-play offense. There has been a heap of talent on the offensive side of the ball with Ward, Holmes, Miller, Wallace, Brown, Sanders, Mendenhall and yet the defense outperforms the offense year after year.

The best way to win games for the Steelers is to play conservatively on offense. Protect the football. Keep games close. Win it at the end.

I don't understand the disconnect between 90% of forum members hating Goodell and the new NFL, and 90% of forum members wanting to open the offense with more throwing and more no huddle. Seems to me most people love the new NFL and think the Steelers fit right in as an offensive powerhouse.

I never understand why fans can't see the importance of talent in the infrastructure, at the workmanlike positions. First you lay a foundation; then you build the house, then you decorate the living room and the man cave.

How do you not see this? When the roof leaks and damages your big HD screen, will you blame Sony?

The Steelers offensive line was INTENTIONALLY ignored to "provide Ben with weapons."

The philosophy I advocate is a return to focus on the workmanlike positions.

How can you not see this?

Well, I like your new philosophy much better than your "Roethlisberger is a loser" philosophy. May I take the credit for showing you the way?
