Yeah, and if we could get a clone of him to play next to himself, I would take that in a heartbeat, and so would any other NFL team. There may be a few better, but not many, and not by much if at all. He was all over the field last year and is coming into his prime right now.

Here's a take on the value of Timmons.

Suppose he was a free agent during this offseason.....would he have been pursued by several teams?



As mentioned above, having Foote as a starter next to him hinders his ability to make plays.

I am a huge Colbert fan and I think this is a smokescreen. He wants teams to think he isn't considering players that are day one starters at positions of need. However, if Eifert, Warmack, Cooper, Lacy (assuming a trade back hopefully) are there, I think he pulls the trigger. I think he wants people to think he is wanting Vacarro, Jones, or a WR so that teams may vault us to get one of them, thus dropping 'our' guys to us. At least I hope that is what is happening. Because we could use a day one starter at ILB, TE, LT, RB
