I love Justin Hunter, but I wouldn't take him with the 17th. If you could move down and get him a little later, fine. Otherwise, he will be playing for someone else. His draft stock is soaring. He was coming off a knee injury last year. He is getting more and more explosive every time somebody sees him. 6'4" 196lb former high jumper. They question his physicality sometimes, thinking he could be stronger making plays for the ball. He's already a terrific outside receiver, but he needs to work on his inside game. They are starting to say he could be the AJ Green of this draft. That's why it's not out of the question for him to be taken that high.

If we're gonna reach, reach for Safety or OLB. Tank Carradine or Matt Elam at 17.

I would reach for Robert Woods if the Steelers were to reach for a WR, Elam would be a nice reach for the defense also.

Vaccaro is one player who's stock is currently rising what seems to be faster and faster. Latest mock's have him going as high as 10 and at the latest, to the Rams at 16. He's going to be a star.
If Jones and Vaccaro are gone, i just think we would take Eifert (if he's even still available - he's another who's stock is going through the roof right now...) before we would take Hunter.

Another TE? There are more pressing needs, I say no to the TE in the 1st round, Eifert looks like a stud but just doesn't make sense with the needs and the gaps that NEED to be filled. If it is in fact Eifert there I say trade down, get more draft picks and fill the voids.

Would you say that scoring touchdowns was a need?

Sure would, but to use the 17th pick on a TE under the premonition the Steelers are going to score TD's isn't filling the needs elsewhere. Sure scoring TD's wins games but so does playing defense and sacking the QB to set your offense up to score TD's. If the need to draft Eifert then why watse money on Spaeth?
