What round do you guys think we make a move on a RB???

I think it'll have to be 2 if they want either Franklin or Bell

Im still high on Knile Davis somewhere 3-5

If we land any of those 3 I'll be really happy

I would be unhappy to see a RB before round 4, and I'd prefer round 5. History shows that good backs are plentiful in the late rounds, and history also shows that the Steelers tend to misfire on their early RB picks.

Similar thoughts for WR - these guys are tough to pick, and there are gems available in round 3 and onwards. Lots of early WR picks are busts. It's more fun to unearth a gem later.

I'd prefer the 1st, 2nd and maybe 3rd round picks go to high-quality players with less risk on the downside than the RBs or WRs. I generally like to address the workmanlike positions - OL, DL, LB - and this year, S and CB are big needs. Obviously, BPA almost anywhere, but let's not reach for WRs or backs.

There are a few theories about how the name Donkey Kong came to be. For instance, some claim it was the result of a translation mistake where he was supposed to be called Monkey Kong, but the name was mistranslated to Donkey Kong, and the name stuck. Others claim that donkey means stupid or foolish, so the name Donkey Kong is supposed to be a pun on King Kong in that fool would be the exact opposite of king. According to this theory, this also served as a way to reference King Kong without violating copyright. Yet others claim that "Donkey" is used as a means to convey DK's stubbornness, while "Kong" invokes the image of a gorilla.

While I knew the first part, it's just amusing that my facetious remark was thoroughly explained. Well done!

I just hope 4 out of the 7 picks we have can make big contributions to winning...team mindset needs to change...think some players are just content to make the team....

Maybe the Steelers should hire Matt Millen in place of Colbert? This way the fans who want a wide receiver first round will never be disappointed.

But 2 players stock is absolutely going through the roof right now - one being Tavon Austin and the other Vaccaro. I don't think there's any way he's available when we pick (although you never know). Even if he is there by some miracle and Jones is there too, i believe we'll take Jones.
