It may not be the most likely mock draft ever written, but it sure seems nice.

Post-Gazette reporter Gerry Dulac has an interesting mock draft up at the last minute.

While the Steelers take the unpopular choice, Notre Dame tight end Tyler Eifert. They will rebound to take The Judge - Kansas State LB Arthur Brown.

North Carolina RB Giovani Bernard goes to Pittsburgh in the third round, along with Georgia S Bacarri Rambo in the fourth.

Regardless of the likelihood of this happening, it would likely make Steelers fans happy.

It would then go to Miami University QB Zac Dysert, Oklahoma WRJustin Brown, and Grand Valley State WR Charles Johnson.

He finishes it off with Penn State LB Michael Mauti.

People aren't going to cry about that. The question is how, exactly, the Steelers would get up in the second round, which isn't marked in Dulac's mock, but his headline says a trade is involved.

If that is the outcome, it doesn't seem likely fans would mind all that much.

33. Jacksonville Jaguars

Matt Barkley, QB, USC

Not sold on this, but he's a player who can push the starter now.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

34. San Francisco 49ers (from Kansas City)

Zach Ertz, TE, Stanford

Replaces Delanie Walker and familiar to the coaching staff.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

35. Philadelphia Eagles

Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia

Chip Kelly gets a great thrower with underrated athleticism to develop behind Michael Vick.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

36. Detroit Lions

Robert Alford, CB, S.E. Louisiana

Detroit is desperate for a corner, and he'll thrive on the perimeter.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

37. Cincinnati Bengals (from Oakland)

Manti Te'o, LB, Notre Dame

They have a bigger need for an OLB, but Te'o is better now than Rey Maualuga.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

38. Arizona Cardinals

Margus Hunt, DE, SMU

Athletic freak who could develop into a 5-technique in their system.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

39. New York Jets

Ryan Nassib, QB, Syracuse

I think it would be Geno Smith if he fell here, but Nassib is also a possible future at QB.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

40. Tennessee Titans

Robert Woods, WR, USC

Great route-runner, great hands and underrated as a big-play threat.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

41. Buffalo Bills

Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee

They really need a speed option at receiver. Here's your guy.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

42. Oakland Raiders (from Miami)

Tank Carradine, DE, Florida St.

Good value here. They got their corner, now they find a pass-rusher.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

43. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

John Jenkins, DT, Georgia

Absolutely need another defensive tackle next to Gerald McCoy.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

44. Carolina Panthers

Jonathan Cyprien, Florida International, S

They need a safety, and I'm really high on Cyprien.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

45. San Diego Chargers

Arthur Brown, LB, Kansas St.

Versatile LB with great athleticism. Fills an immediate need.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

46. Buffalo Bills (from St. Louis)

Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama

Takes pressure off C.J. Spiller, but a home run threat himself. Also helps with short-yardage situations.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

47. Dallas Cowboys

Shamarko Thomas, S, Syracuse

They need a safety and take advantage of a deep class. Thomas is a starter.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

48. Pittsburgh Steelers

D.J. Swearinger, S, South Carolina

They're really old at safety, and Swearinger is ready to play.

After Vaccaro & Elam (sob, sob), Swearinger is my favorite safety on this draft. Those two were 1, and he is 1-a. The two Thomases are 2s. And there's a lot of third tier Ss.

My gut says Brown, but I would like Swearinger, Brown, Franklin... et cetera (there's about five that I really like, and about sixteen that would still be excellent picks).

My new "best case scenario" which is entirely unlikely because it needs all of these players to fall far but would make me CREAM MY PANTS:

2. Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
3. Tyrann Mathieu, CB/S, LSU
4. Marcus Lattimore, RB, South Carolina
5. Corey Fuller, WR, Virginia Tech
6-6-7: Doesn't even matter we've already won the draft.

Best three defenders in college football in one draft, defense set for next decade. Plus the best RB and my personal favorite WR. Seriously though, imagine a defense with Jones and Woodley off the edge, Te'o in the middle, Honey Badger roaming the secondary...it can be described in one word: playmakers. It's what we lack right now. Our defense is sound, but it doesn't have that X-factor. This draft would more than give it that.

A more realistic best case that actually has a chance of happening that I would like to see would be Robert Woods or Justin Hunter in the second with Lattimore in the third, Rambo in the fourth, and Michael Mauti somewhere in the sixth.

Wouldn't mind if that played out, but I would rather have a running back who will be ready to play on day 1. Lattimore is good, but we need running back help right now.
