Default Round 2

Now that the Steelers have selected their first round pick. What do the Steelers do in the 2nd?

Running back- The Steelers are in desperate need of a feature back
TE- with the injury to Miller likley to sideline Bens favorite target for a few games do the Steelers take a big TE with good hands for Haley's offense.
Saftey- aging Safteys Troy and Clark make the Steelers consider the future

I think you can wait another round or two for RB unless you want Lacy or Franklin.

I think the Steelers will pass on a TE, personally

Saftey might be another spot we can wait another round.

They might just go with WR if there's a good one when our 2nd pick comes around.

Justin Hunter or Robert Woods would be awesome. With Vaccaro, Elam, and Reid all off the board I'm not big on the second round safeties available and the third round options won't be much worse.

I wouldn't mind any of these:

Arthur Brown
Manti Teo
Desmond Trufant
Jonathan Banks, CB
Damontre Moore
Jonathan Cyprien
Justin Hunter
Keenan Allen
Robert Woods

Posted in the draft thread but I think we go with two of Safety, ILB, RB, or WR tomorrow. With one representative on offense and one on defense.

ILB, S, RB in any order... and a WR

Greene, Brown, Minter

Swearinger, Cyprien, P.Thomas, S.Thomas

Franklin, Lattimore, Bell, Lacy

Woods, Hunter, Allen

That's fourteen, plus G.Smith & Te'o will go (making 16).

We're almost surely going WR (there should be a number of good ones still there when we're up) with a slight possibility of a RB if someone like Lacey is still there.
Other than that, look for defensive backfield. I don't think we'll address the LB position now with pick # 2 - possibly in the 4th or 5th

Trufant got drafted. I doubt that they go OLB again (no Moore). I agree with the rest.

Brown's an OLB I thought or is he more inside? I really think we go with whoever we have rated highest at safety. Need some quality depth and youth behind Troy and Clark. Of course it all depends who's there ultimately.
