I will forgive the Steelers for taking Jones if we somehow manage to get Lacy. Although Jonathan Cyprien, Kevin Minter, and Justin Hunter are all very viable/desirable options as well.

I say no on tight end until later, especially if we get Hunter or another big wide receiver later.

I'm hoping for the WR - RB combo in rounds 2 and 3 with a good safety like JJ Wilcox being around in the 4th.

List of players the Steelers would likely target in rounds 2 and 3.

John Cyrpien S
Arthur Brown ILB
Manti Te'o ILB
Keenan Allen WR
Terron Armstead OT
Giovani Bernard RB
Kevin Minter ILB
Quinton Patton WR
Terrance Williams WR
Robert Woods WR
Eddie Lacy RB
Justin Hunter WR
Markus Wheaton WR
DJ Searinger S
Joseph RandleRB
Steadman Bailey WR
JJ Wilcox S
Montee Ball RB
Margus Hunt DE
Da'rick Rogers WR
Phillip Thomas S
Cobi Hamilton WR
Stepfan Taylor RB
Jonathan Franklin RB
Josh Boyce WR
Aaron Dobson WR
Christine Michael RB
Le'veon Bell RB

That's quite a lot and gets my hopes up for us finding a WR and RB and even Safety in the next three rounds. There should be a nice run on QBs soon but WR and RB will start up fast and furious. Hope for a few more idiotic picks like Dallas made and we actually pick at 16 next round due to Saints losing draft pick.

RB: Johnathan Franklin, Gio Bernard
WR: Keenan Allen, Justin Hunter, Markus Wheaton, Robert Woods, Da'Rick Rogers, Quinton Patton
ILB: Arthur Brown, Kevin Minter, Manti Te'o
S: Jonathan Cyprien, Phillip Thomas, JJ Wilcox, DJ Swearinger

Any of these would be nice.

ILB for the Steelers... a la Timmons.

I think we will all be happy with rounds 2 and 3 considering the talent pool that seems to be available.

Ah I see. Wouldn't mind a deja vu of Timmons/Woodley then. The next year's result was pretty awesome. I do think if we go ILB though, it will be later like on the third day but they did like Brown enough to bring him in and I've heard good things.

I think they go Allen, Cyprien or Woods. Unless someone unexpected falls. And with the way this draft is going, wouldn't that be nice?!?! Either way I'm excited. Good start lookin for a solid middle to a great finish Saturday! Gotta address S, WR and RB asap though.

My personal big board for round 2 if I were to be GM for the day:

1. Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
2. Robert Woods, WR, USC
3. Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
4. Jonathan Franklin, RB, UCLA (I'm assuming Lacy will be gone by our pick)
5. Tyrann Mathieu, CB, LSU (Yes I would give him a chance, he's a playmaker and that's what matters...also I'd try to convert him to S)
6. Arthur Brown, ILB, Kansas State
7. Jonathan Cyprien, S, FIU
8. Keenan Allen, WR, Cal

whoever we get in round 2 and 3 tomorrow, there is some great players who could of been round 1 guys.

im thinking safety and wide out are addressed in some way tomorrow.

unless the value on someone is too good to pass up, ala: teo, lacy, brown, hunt, someone along those lines
