I like how you think (although, I think it's Brown).

I'll add him to the list.

Greene, Brown, Minter

Swearinger, Cyprien, P.Thomas, S.Thomas

Franklin, Lattimore, Bell, Lacy

Woods, Hunter, Allen

Add possible picks: Ertz, Hunt.

That's already sixteen (which is Pittsburgh's pick). Plus, G.Smith, Barkley, Moore, & Te'o will go. As well as, CBs: Banks, Taylor. Heck, there's even OL: Warford, Watson, Winters... & Schwenke.

Someone good WILL be there.

Oh yeah, the depth is bountiful on day two, as we all knew it would be. The only question was, would we get a true impact player in the first?

And we did.

Schwenke isn't expected to go any higher than the third, so we have plenty of time to see if he makes it to Pittsburgh. My girlfriend has an uncanny knack (despite not really getting into football until recently) to wildly predict absolutely random shit and be completely right. She's been saying the Steelers were gonna target him for months, so let's see if that pans out.

Namely Russell Wilson being fucking awesome and making it deep into the playoffs. Hell, she picked this past year's playoffs better than I did, and I've been watching football with my dad since I was barely walking (sorry, as soon as we got TV in that underground prison ).

The Steelers need to find a way to trade up and get Eddie Lacy/ Montee Ball and here's why.

1. The Steelers rushing total for 2012 was the lowest in 50 years
2. Ben will not be able to shoulder the load especially under Haley's offense.
3. Releasing Mendenhall made quite a few people happy but he was the feature back

The Steelers have a few choices at RB but only a couple fit.

Johnathan Franklin and Gio Bernard fit our new offense more than Lacy or Ball.

Saftey- aging Safteys Troy and Clark make the Steelers consider the future
Did you forget that the Steelers have a missing #1 receiver on their roster? This is a passing league. A featured RB is less important than a #1 (Santonio Holmes) level security blanket for Big Ben. Without Heath, having a real #1 receiver should be a top priority. Woods out of USC could be that guy.

Robert Woods, the guy who wasn't even the #1 receiver on his team in college?

maybe we can trade down in this round and get an extra pick....could address Saftey & WR then pick up a running back in the 3rd or 4th round...wishful thinking but I can dream....
