I saw Noah last night. As a fan of Aronofsky's other films, I can say with confidence that this was a big pile of shit. The script, the overacting (mainly Russell Crowe, but Jennifer Connelly as well), the cinematography all left me asking "Why?!?" Followed by "This is so stupid." And I even liked The Fountain.

Ah, so you were the one.

But seriously, punch yourself in the face. Repeatedly.

Just rewatched Manhunter. It's the original adaptation of the novel Red Dragon from around '85 or so. It's a bit 80s-ish but I think it's a superior version. A bit artsy as well but Tom Noonan's take on Dollarhyde is way better IMO. Red Dragon seems to sterilize and "hollywoodize" so much of the story. The only thing I prefer in Red Dragon is Emily Watson. Soundtrack is pretty awesome as well and one of those movies that integrates music perfectly. I've had the song _Strong as I am_ running through my head for a week now.

I can't stop watching GRAVITY.

I literally live a half a mile away from the International Space Hall of Fame and I sure hope their IMAX theater (the only one in new mexico) gets it. I will go to every showing.

Pink Floyd laser light shows on Friday nights on acid was played out by 1990.

I did not care for Gravity. Don't get me wrong, there was some amazing filmmaking going on in that movie, but I really didn't care if Sandra Bullock made it back alive or not. If I want to watch just a pretty movie, I'll see Only God Forgives.

she has nice "thigh gap".

i hear ya though. there wasnt much for character development (not much of a need for it, as i feel it was more of an eye candy, experinece ride/movie).

the movie woulda been just as good if it had two average joe astronauts playing the parts instead of hollywood actors.

You know, the movie may have actually been better that way. I think having a star like Bullock made the whole thing less believable.

That movie was called Moon and no one watched it.

Armageddon is bad and Michael Bay should feel bad.
