Default Pittsburgh Parents Of The Year

This story is getting national play

The parents of a 10-year old girl who rode in the back of the family's pickup truck inside a cage with a small dog have been charged with child endangerment.

The girl's mother's Abbey Carlson, 29, and stepfather Thomas Fishinger, 33, both of Millvale, were arraigned today on charges of endangering the welfare of a child, according to court records.

Millvale police were dispatched at about 7:20 p.m. after reports that a girl was riding in a cage in the back of a truck along the turnpike.

According to a criminal complaint, officers signaled for the truck's driver to pull over and removed the girl from the cage.

Asked why the child was in the cage, Mr. Fishinger said the girl asked to be with the small dog, wrote Millvale police Officer Dennis Gapsky III.

“I didn’t think it was that big of a deal. We weren’t going fast. We weren’t,” Carlson said.

“It was back there because we knew that it was three of us, so we couldn’t put the dog inside the cab,” Fishinger said.

KDKA-TV’s Ross Guidotti: Was she in the cage while the vehicle was being operated on the roadway?

Fishinger: Yes, sir.

Guidotti: And you weren’t concerned about maybe something bad happening with her back there?

Fishinger: I guess I was, but with everything going on.

Guidotti: It never occurred that, well the dog is going to have to deal with it until we get home.

Fishinger: I don’t want to dog to suffer. That’s like animal cruelty to me, you know, the dog crying like that.

I could not insert the video but if you check the link the link below you can view the KDKA interview with the morons who put the girl in the cage

As Buddha has routinely stated:
There should be IQ tests done for anyone who is about to have a child.
