Sacks are not the only part of his responsibilities. On occasion, is it to much to ask for him to make an extra tackle a game?

You don't have to agree with me, and that's ok. I've never said he's a bad player. What I've been trying to communicate is that for $65 million dollars 3.? tackles and
.75 sacks a game is not good value.

Seriously, have you ever watched what he is doing the other 30 some plays a game? I realize it is a custom for players to take a play off or two a game, but 30 some a game?

OK, lets be fair, not all plays are going his direction. Well, let me ask you this, how many times will you see him on the other half of the field chasing down a runner from behind like Harrison did on a regular basis? How about 15 or more yards down field from the LOS for any reason?

Richardson plays for the Browns. And he is a running back.

He means Huey Richardson. The biggest bust in Steelers history after the merger.

Yet again, another blind fan who thinks sacks are the ONLY thing an OLB is about. Good job...lol Let's see...35 sacks; failing to consistently seal the edge; poor pass coverage; lazy effort on and off the field; out of position far too much and usually handled by TEs or RBs. How is that worth the 13-14 million dollar cap hit? Insert Worilds with really no dropoff. It saves about what...$10 million in cap?

Why do you feel Woodley is a prick? Lazy I can easily see, but a prick?

I'm confident that they can match Harrison's last year sack total. The question is that if they can match Harrison's ability of stopping the run.

Are you sure he didnt mean Nolan Richardson who coached Arkansas to a national title circa 94?

Nope SteelersCan is right. Woodley has excellent production. He will be the Steelers all-time sack leader.

Woodley does a FANTASTIC job at sealing the edge. He was stronger at defending runs TOWARDS him than Harrison (though Harrison excelled at chasing down runs) . Woodley is also decent in zone coverage and has had several interceptions over the years.

LOL @ "sacks dont matter." Umm yeah they do- to everyone but you apparently. Bring Haggans back? Woodley has an NFL record for most consecutive playoff games with a sack. He will be back on track next year. Until then use Kleenex brand Kleenex to prevent undue chafing.
