Default Sporting Moments.

A bit like the music thread, but with sport.

Try (like a TD, but in Rugby) from the End of the World. Scored by France against New Zealand in 1994.

Man Utd 3 West Brom 5. December 1978

Yes okay, I am a West Brom fan. But I'd still put this up even if I was a Man Utd fan. If anyone was to list the greatest games of soccer* ever played, this would be high on the list.

Brings tears to my eyes every time I watch this. So many great memories, not just of hockey, but with my father.

We are so lucky to have these moments captured in time.

And to Badger Bob. Not necessarily a "sporting moment", but an important moment in hockey for us fans. It's always a Great Day For Hockey.

Default Jim Telfer Speech

My 13 year old Tuxedo Cat, Clara, watched this, and now she is The Beast of Bodmin.

Jim Telfer, British and Irish Lions coach, delivering a legendary speech during the 1997 Lions Tour in South Africa.
