What I like are the ones who sit on a corner begging for money with the woe is me signs. Then at the end of the day they go jump in their new motor home for the night.

reminds me of a few years ago when i was living in baltimore. everyday there was a one armed dude at the bottom of the inner harbor extit ramp , holding a a sign that said "help out a homeless vietnam vet"... dude was there faithfully every day till the weather got cold. my coworker/roommate says one day "where's stumpy" , the name we gave him. i said "duh john , that fuckers laying on a beach in hawaii , drinking drinks with little umbrellas in them , thinking about what to buy with the hundreds of thousand of dollars he conned out of these chumps.

there's something wrong when people with no jobs and living in government paid housing is driving a nicer car than a guy who has worked steadily for 25 years.

the housing projects in my city are known for their drug activity , which is one more reason why i think drug testing is a great idea. within the first week of announcing drug test , 3/4 of the units would probably be vacated.
it took me 5 year to finished customizing my truck and a lot of ass-chuwings from my wife and there's a guy a few houses down driving an escalate with the biggest wheel you could probably get and I've never seen him work

i'm proud of my ride its freaking old but i had to sweat for it

Oh, well then you've never been to Butler, Pa.

I agree with most stuff posted here, though if the drug testing became more expensive than it was worth (as seemed the case in Florida), then I'd say do away with it.

As far as what you can buy with food stamps (I'm assuming that's what the independence card is?), I've been a strong advocate of it being set up like WIC for a long time. Necessaties only http://www.fns.usda.gov/wic/benefits...oodpkgregs.htm )...though I would add in certain meat allowances (beyond canned tuna lol).
