An interesting point is that what is the down side of all those bombs to Wallace that did not connect. Missing those plays will be a good thing. How many times did we see them try to connect deep last year and Wallace just dogging it if the pass wasn't right to him, or that Ben under-threw. Plus, everyone will be better off without the bad attitude of MW; he brought the whole team down with his act.

I foresee:

No drop off in the passing game... but, a surge in the rushing game.

In turn, that 21 points per game rises to about 27.

Remember that afternoon where we bumped all of the Wallace threads to the top (nearly 30 of them)... and Dodens Grav complained about all of the Wallace threads (totally missed the humor).

That was awesome!!!

Just having backs that can catch the ball will help. They were in desperate need of players that are versatile. They had RB's that can't catch. They had a #1 receiver that wouldn't go over the middle, or make tough catches, or adjust to the ball in the air, or block.

Who is going to make up for the bad blog articles if Matt Leode doesn't write them??

Oh wait, there are dozens of other bloggers in their mom's basement that can write them. That is all.

I think those long throws are a detriment to the team because Ben is not that accurate trying to throw it 40 or more yards on a fly pattern. He is great 20-25 yards out. But that wasn't the game played with Wallace. He hits Brown at about 15-20 yards with regularity.

I totally agree with this statement...however the corrollary is if 20 points per game is really that good.
