No way man. Tony races everything, that's something he takes pride in and it's part of the reason that I pull for the guy. Racing runs through his veins. It's what makes him great. I want the guy to do what he loves, that's what is most important.

So you're okay with Ben and Troy playing pick up football games on the beach, or Ben riding around town on his motorcycle with out a helmet. He's just doing what he loves to do and that's more important right. Not the contract to the team or his commitment to the fans.

Racing is a little different than playing full contact sports. You can get away with minor injuries, driving sick, etc... You're simply not using your body as much driving a car as much as you are playing a game like football. This is no new thing. Tony has been racing in all different kinds of racing since the beginning of his career. Perhaps this argument would be valid if he was still racing for Joe Gibbs. Now he's his own owner not under and kind of contractual obligation and I am one of his fans saying I don't have a single problem with him going out and racing sprint cars. It's not as if Tony is some new up-and-coming guy. He's brought his fans 3 championships. Tony is his own man and can do whatever he wants.

Tons of drivers race everything. There are many guys racing Nationwide, truck races, dirt track stuff... nobody seems to complain about them.

Damn, hope he's okay. I've always like Smoke, and my man Kevin Harvick is gonna be driving for him, so definitely wanna see him get healthy quick.

He should be good to go for this upcoming season. Smoke's always been my guy. One of the few drivers I really respect.
