At least get the rookies same game action - Bell is getting nailed by his own team

My money is on Worilds having done it - unless Arians returns Worilds is my new default scapegoat for anything bad that happens

Worilds apparently can't tackle anyone legally during a game. He now just gets personal fouls called against him during games, and hits our own stars in non-contact drills.

Awesome.....

call at a level up from a walk through.it is where wrapping up, getting both arms around a ball carrier and pretty much hugging them equals a tackle as opposed to hitting them or taking them down to the ground.

Much like how grabbing a flag equals a tackle in flag football.

I got the injury concern, but correct me if I am wrong, isn't this still the game of football? A "controlled war" for 60 minutes? Damn, do you think Michigan State was this laid back with Mark Dantonio at the helm? Geez, if he can't take a hit then this will be a long season, another year of Redman and Dwyer, here's to hoping that this kid finds some guts and plays like the Steelers of old, WITH A LITTLE PAIN!!!!!

Injuries during practice and/or during the preseason are a result of players playing at different speeds...

...such as Bell playing at half-speed (as directed by the coaches) and a defender tackling hard (like it's a live game).

I bet if I ran at Mean Joe, when he wasn't ready, even I could cause him some pain. In other words, it's not a matter of pain-tolerance; Bell simply wasn't ready for the hit.
