as for your pond water, give it to texas (jagoffs) so they can drop their supreme court case suing new mexico for our subterranian ground water/aquifer and rio grande water.

Actually it does - you are contending the nanny state is intruding on the personal affairs of individuals in an overbearing manner

I pointed out an example of overreaching that is not a hypothetical atrocity in an article linked from one of your wingnut web sites but an actual example of the authorities hassling an individual for engaging in a lawful activity that perhaps violates the technical letter but not the spirit of the law

This must be a joke?

That has to be the most absurd thing i have ever heard of!

Is that really part of the United States?
Yeah it is part of the United States, particularly when you build metropolitan areas in semi-arid environments

As Tony points out, water rationing has been around for some time in the Southwest - we also had it in Georgia during two long droughts in recent years

Get ready for more of it

Decade of Drought Threatens West

More than a decade into a drought that has plagued the Southwest, federal officials for the first time plan a sharp cut in the amount of Colorado River water that flows 360 miles from Lake Powell into Lake Mead. ...

Water managers say they will have to come up with new ways to stretch supplies of the river and other sources, such as through use of new technology to increase efficiency.

"This is a long term issue for us," said Jeffrey Kightlinger, general manager of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, which provides water from the Colorado to 19 million people.

I thought you might have mellowed in your responses to other posters following your recent enforced vacay from the forum - apparently not. Is your default posting style of being insulting because you just enjoy stirring shit by putting on act or because you really are a jackass and cannot help yourself?

Just wondering

Where is the part about 6 years in prison for washing your car?

as can be seen in the bridge jumpers thread, the water is horribly low in lake mead. same can be said for elephant butte in new mexico. infact the rio grande is completely dried up in parts, north of where it is fed.

its good to know there is plenty of water flooding florida though. add louisianna to that list as well. perhaps the flood waters will wash all the idiots out to sea-

President Barack W. Obama celebrates Sen. John McCain's birthday
as Hurricane Katrina ravages the Gulf Coast in August 2005
According to a new survey from Public Policy Polling, 29 percent of Louisiana Republicans blame President Obama for the federal government's botched response to Hurricane Katrina.
Yes, you read that right: Nearly one in three Louisiana Republicans blame Barack Obama, who had just been elected to the Senate and had yet to announce his presidential campaign, let alone actually become president, for the federal response to the August 2005 hurricane.

On its own, that would be funny enough. But it gets better, because that 29 percent figure is actually slightly higher than the 28 percent of Louisiana Republicans who blame President Bush, who was actually, you know, president. The remaining 44 percent (the figures add up to more than 100 due to rounding) said they weren't sure who to blame.

In other words, given a choice between President Obama and President Bush, more than 70 percent of Louisiana Republicans either blamed Obama or said they weren't sure who deserved more blame.

Given these numbers, I'd really hate to see who they blame for Dick Cheney
fucking morons.

Now that he has admitted to the conduct, future progressive discipline can be implemented as the mods may see fit if the behavior contines

Let's see what happens going forward

With regard to your link to the poll on 29% of the Louisiana GOP blaming the 2005 handling of Katrina on Obama, God knew we were getting ready to elect an Islamic Kenyan Socialist and called down some punishment in advance

If Obama would not have run God would not have needed to summon Katrina

So there you have it - the response to Katrina is Obama's fault since Katrina was caused by Obama being elected Prez

The Lord works in mysterious ways - only the GOP voters are perceptive enough to see how
